If you are part of a non-profit group or club that is looking to raise money, then this IS THE volunteer opportunity for you!

The Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon and Rose 5K will host thousands of runners on Saturday, July 19th at the Rose 5K, and Sunday, July 20th at the Half Marathon.

Volunteers are an integral part of this event and provide great support for participants. Motiv Running will donate $50 to your organization for each shift filled. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved with Sonoma’s best event of the summer, develop organizational and interpersonal skills, and raise funds for your non-profit!

Individual volunteers who wish to participate independently will receive volunteer hours, professional development, training and a t-shirt. Must be part of a non-profit organization of 5 or more to be eligible for a donation.

Volunteer Areas:

• Registration – bib pickup, on-site registration, info tent, award distribution
• T-shirt Distribution/Wine Glass Distribution – organizing and handing out t-shirts/wine glasses to participants
• Start Line – assisting with start corrals, information tent, directions, light set-up assistance of tables, chairs as needed
• Finish Line – giving out medals, water, refreshments, assisting in clean-up of area after last runner
• Water Stations – providing water and electrolyte to runner, setting up water station tables, and light cleaning of area to ensure no cups and trash are left behind
• Wine Pouring and ID Check (21+ with RBS training)
• Gear Check – accepting and organizing runner bags in alphanumeric order. Bags will be tagged in advanced. Runners will pick up bags after the race.
